Department of Industrial Automation (Ust-Kamenogorsk)

Main areas of activity: 

  • scientific and technical, technological and development industrial research and work for nuclear industry enterprises and Kazakhstan mining and metallurgical complex;
  • Research and analytical services in the fields of analysis:
  • exploration, mining, processing and production of uranium-containing materials and products based on rare and rare earth metals, silicon and quartz;
  • the safe handling (management, treatment and disposal) of technogenic waste, including radioactive and toxic;
  • the establishment, improvement and development of process control, instrumentation, automated technological equipment.

The main tasks of the Department are the following:

  • Research and Advanced development works, pilot testing, testing and introduction of new technical and technological solutions for uranium and rare metal processing industries;
  • research and development of new materials, technologies, creation of pilot areas of high technology products and products based on RM and REE
  • design and implementation of process control systems existing and under construction industries, software development, provision of advice and practical assistance for the commissioning of automation systems;
  • development of non-standard measuring devices, control and alarm systems;
  • development of automated technological; 
  • development of geophysical equipment for research drilling wells: inclinometer, caliper, and electric appliances of gamma logging tool, downhole thermometer, inductive logging devices, logging recorders;
  • development and manufacture of flow meters with a highly corrosion resistant tantalum electrodes for technological fluids. разработка и изготовление
  • manufacturing, installation and check-out of the equipment, instruments and equipment developing in the LLP;

manufacturing, check-out of the equipment, implementation of technological units: the preparation of leaching solutions (UPVR), distribution of leaching solutions (URVR), reception of productive solutions (UPPR).

Small-scale production produces measuring instruments and control:

  • The flowmeter-counter liquid (accuracy class 1%) "Cube-5";
  • Downhole electronic inclinometer-CIEL 58 CIEL-40;
  • Caliper downhole controllable SKU-58;
  • Warning level SU-100 ... SU115;

as well as special equipment for experimental research
